Research Program

We have shown that folate treatment enhances axon regeneration and healing of the injured CNS via the methylation arm of the folate pathway. Current work aims to understand the underpinnings of the relationship between the CNS, folate-mediated DNA methylation, and other epigenetic mechanisms.
