Studying Dogs with Neurogenerative Diseases: Findings Contribute to Understanding of Human Neuropathy

Ryan Anderson (BS’22), a third-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/PhD student, has been awarded a National Institutes of Health F30 Fellowship to study the pathologic and molecular basis of late-onset peripheral neuropathy and establish it as a canine model for human hereditary peripheral neuropathy.

WisCARES Receives $2 Million Grant from Maddie’s Fund to Expand Community Pet Resource Center and Veterinary Clinic

Thanks to a $2.18 million grant from Maddie’s Fund, WisCARES is expanding its Community Pet Resource Center and Veterinary Clinic.
