Supporting Our SVM Family |
|
Strategic Priority Six focuses on fostering a community that stimulates professional enthusiasm, collegiality, and continuous engagement within the school and throughout the University of Wisconsin System. One of the first initiatives undertaken in support of this priority was the creation of the Dean’s Monthly Message and, later, mid-month Strategic Plan Updates like this one for faculty, staff, students, and friends. These communications are meant to make the decision-making that affects the school’s employees and students more transparent.
We also are creating orientation documents and a welcome program for all of our employees, including our new faculty, to integrate them into the SVM and university community. This will provide faculty and staff with the tools, resources, and information they need to have successful and productive careers. Other initiatives in support of this strategic priority are highlighted below. |
