Research Focus

Overarching goals of my group are to discover novel regenerative factors and to study cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying tissue regeneration using zebrafish fin and heart tissues. Long-term goals of our research are to translate knowledge obtained from our basic research to mammalian models, leading to advancing therapeutic strategies of tissue repair.
