Research Program

Lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms involved in tick feeding and bacterial transmission by ticks. We are especially interested in the role of extracellular vesicles in the manipulation of skin immune responses and how bacteria alters vesicle cargo in their benefit. We develop tools for the prevention and diagnosis of tick-borne diseases.
