Research

Dr. Kellihan's primary research interest is in canine pulmonary arterial hypertension, she is also involved with research on valvular heart disease in Whippets.

Responsibilities

Currently, Dr. Kellihan is a Clinical Professor as well as the Section Head of Cardiology for the Department of Medical Sciences.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Kellihan's clinical interests include the care and treatment of pulmonary hypertension, mitral valve disease, congenital heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, feline heart disease, and heart worm disease. She is also interested in cardiac catheterization procedures and pacemaker implantation.
