Research
Dr. Eaton's research interests include comparative ocular pharmacology and toxicology, locoregional anesthesia for ocular surgery, ocular melanocytic disease, comparative ocular oncology, and equine ophthalmology.
Responsibilities
Dr. Eaton provides diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients of UW Veterinary Care's Ophthalmology Service, also instructing veterinary students and interns during their clinical rotations in ophthalmology. He also is engaged in training comparative ophthalmology residents at UW-Madison in all aspects of clinical ophthalmology and ophthalmic microsurgery. He lectures in the third year didactic and elective equine ophthalmology courses at the SVM and in collaborative courses with the SMPH.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Eaton's clinical interests include melanocytic ocular disease and comparative ocular oncology, and comparative aspects of glaucoma in small and large animals.
