Research

Dr. DeBoer's research is focused on the immunology of chronic skin diseases, including atopic dermatitis and recurrent skin infections.

Responsibilities

Dr. DeBoer is responsible for research and teaching in the School of Veterinary Medicine, including training of veterinary students and postgraduate trainees.

Clinical Interests

Dr. DeBoer is primarily interested in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases in dogs and cats; allergic skin disease in dogs and cats; recurrent bacterial skin infections.

Graduate Training

Depending on the year and on availability of funding, our department operates a clinical training program (internship or residency) that provides specialty training in animal skin diseases.
