Responsibilities
Dr. Holschbach is involved in the clinical instruction of senior veterinary students on the Large Animal Internal Medicine rotation. She coordinates and teaches the bovine restraint and physical exam portion of the phase 1 Clinical Skills course and is also co-coordinator and lecturer for the 3rd year Food Animal Medicine course. Dr. Holschbach also coordinates the Food Animal and Equine Ambulatory rotations.
Clinical Interests
While Dr. Holschbach enjoys working with all large animal species, her particular clinical interests include neonatology as well as infectious and metabolic diseases of dairy cattle.
Graduate Training
Dr. Holschbach received her veterinary degree from UW-Madison. She completed a Food Animal Medicine, Surgery, and Field Service Internship at Colorado State University before returning to Madison to complete a residency training program in Large Animal Internal Medicine in conjunction with a Master's of Science degree in Dairy Science.
