Research

American seniors spend over $4 billion each year on urinary disorders such as increased urge to urinate, painful urination, excessive urination during the day or at night, and incontinence. Urinary dysfunction is also common in aging cats and dogs and a leading reason why owners make the difficult decision to surrender their pets. My laboratory is deeply committed to improving health by developing new treatments for aging-related urinary disorders. I am committed to developing Wisconsin’s next generation of outstanding research scientists.
