Jaimie Miller received her DVM from the University of Florida in 2012. Fostering her interest in anatomic pathology, she came straight to the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine to complete a residency in anatomic pathology in 2015. Afterwards, Jaimie stayed on as a Clinical Instructor, during which time she passed the veterinary anatomic pathology exam and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2017. Jaimie continued on to the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in 2018, where she served as a diagnostic pathologist with a predominately agriculture caseload. In 2020, Jaimie pursued her passion for wildlife by becoming the Wildlife Pathology Fellow at the USGS National Wildlife Center in Madison, investigating morbidity and mortality events in wildlife from across the United States. Jaimie joined the COPLOW team in 2023 to expand her knowledge on the fascinating world of eyes. Outside of work, her two sons keep her on her toes with their shenanigans, and if there is time, she enjoys playing board games, reading, and watching movies.
