Memorial and honor gifts are a meaningful way to express sympathy to a friend on the loss of a loved one or cherished animal companion, to thank a veterinarian for their exceptional care, to honor an individual who loves and values animals, or to celebrate a special birthday – animal or human!
We offer the following opportunities for you to recognize the important people and animals in your life while at the same time supporting our efforts to improve animal health.
Cards
For a minimum suggested donation of $10, we will send a personalized card:
- To the recipient of your choice notifying them of your gift in their honor.
- To the family of your choice notifying them of your gift in memory of their loved one.
Donations can made be made online or by downloading an online order form and mailing it to the school.
Bricks
Our Walk of Honor bricks welcome clients to UW Veterinary Care, our teaching hospital. These 4” x 8” bricks are available for $150 each and can accommodate up to 3 lines of text with 14 characters per line.
Pavers
Our Pathway to Progress pavers welcome clients to our Frank and Evelyn Fryer Radiation Therapy and Physical Rehabilitation Clinic. Pavers are available in two sizes:
- 12” X 12” paver: $750
Fit up to 3 lines of text with 16 characters per line - 24” X 24” paver: $1,500
Fit up to 6 lines of text with 32 characters per line
Naming Opportunities
We have naming opportunities available throughout the UW School of Veterinary Medicine and its teaching hospital. The school’s Animals Need Heroes Too building expansion and renovation project also features several naming options for units and rooms in UW Veterinary Care and learning spaces, as well as seating and outdoor areas.
