What is PAWSS?

What services does PAWSS offer?

  • Short-term individual counseling to students of Veterinary Medicine for a variety of concerns including, but not limited to:
    • Adjusting to school
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Interpersonal relationships
    • Family issues
    • Self-esteem issues
    • Stress management
    • Trauma
  • PAWSS counseling services are confidential and free to students in the SVM
  • Provide referrals to other community mental health agencies
  • Presentations and facilitated discussions on wellness/communication related topics
  • General wellness support
