Histotechnology is a specialized branch of laboratory medicine which, in the Comparative Orthopaedic Research Laboratory, involves the preparation of tissue sections of musculoskeletal tissue for histomorphometric data collection. Specialized equipment is needed for tissue processing to obtain optimal results.
