    • Associate Professor, Department of ComparativeBiosciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison
    • Affiliate appointments: Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine and the Neurosciences Training Program, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI

  • Neuroendocrinology of ingestive behavior and fluid metabolism
  • Chemical neuroanatomy
  • Antibody production against neural receptors

  • The laboratory's primary current interest is to map the involvement of serotoninergic pathways that regulate ingestive physiology of water, electolytes and energy sources.  The broad goal is supported by production of antibodies against serotonin and other relevant neurotransmitters and their receptors for use in light and electron microscopic immunohistochemistry and immunoassays.

    Associate Professor

  • Veterinary physiology - Physiological principles, muscle, neural, cardiovascular, neural and endocrine physiology.
  • Graduate course in electron microscopy (contibutor) - topics on ultrastructural immunocytochemistry
  • Graduate training in endocrinology (contributor)
  • Undergraduate Research Scholar ( Research training mentor).
  • Affiliate Positions: Neuroscience Training Program, Veterinary Science
