Holstein with
Clinical Signs
of Johne's Disease

There appears to be no breed predisposition. Johne's disease is as common in Holstein cattle as in other dairy breeds. The disease is less common, however, in beef breeds of cattle. This is likely due to differences in husbandry practices between dairy and beef cattle.
