PhD Degree Program

1. Assemble your thesis committee.
2. Decide which classes you will take.
3. Certify by the end of first year that you are enrolled.
4. Hold an Annual committee meeting to update your committee.
5. Take and pass Preliminary Examination A (To assess your background knowledge and comprehension of more advanced topics covered in graduate courses or by independent study.)
6. Take and pass Preliminary Examination B (To assess your ability to write a grant proposal for your research and reach disertator status.)
7. Write your PhD Thesis
8. Graduate!

MS Degree Program

1. Assemble your thesis committee.
2. Decide which classes you will take.
3. Complete certification by the end of first semester that you are enrolled.
4. Hold an Annual committee meeting to update your committee
5. Write your MS Thesis
6. Graduate!
