This is a Gram's stain of Fusobacterium. This organism grows as a long filamentous (fusiform-shapes) rod. It gives a beaded appearance when stained.

On blood agar, Fusobacterium produces small, entire alpha-hemolytic colonies that have a distinctive bad odor.
