This work is focused on accurate assessment of limb alignment in animals. These are challenging conditions in animals that result in considerable disfunction, pain, and loss of mobility. We are actively collaborating on several multi-institutional projects focused on specific conditions such as antebrachial ALD, chondrodystrophy, and surgical interventions for alignment correction. This research has direct clinical application to patients seen by the UW Veterinary Care with the printing of 3D biomodels for surgical planning.
