Giving a holiday gift card is like giving twice—your family and friends receive a beautiful card and the UW School of Veterinary Medicine benefits from your gift.
This beautiful card makes an ideal holiday gift for veterinarians, friends, family, people’s pets, or for anyone who loves animals. For a suggested $10 donation per card, we will send a holiday card to recipients of your choice with a message stating that a donation was made in their name to the School of Veterinary Medicine.
We personally address and sign these cards for you. (You can also order blank cards in sets of 10. Blank cards will be mailed directly to you for your use.)
Proceeds from these gift cards ensure that cats, dogs, horses and other animal species continue to benefit from the latest health advancements, facility upgrades, and service enhancements at the school. Ultimately, these gifts allow us to better serve you, your animals and our students.
Each year, a different artist donates artwork for the Holiday Card. This year’s oil painting, “Farm Breakfast,” was donated by S.V. Meradis, a 2010 MFA graduate of the UW-Madison’s Art Department. “Farm Breakfast” is part of the American Family Children’s Hospital's permanent collection. Interested in an alternative card with a horse or cat design?
Limited quantities of horse and cat art cards are also available. To send these cards to your recipients, please check the appropriate box underneath the address information. If nothing is checked, the “Farm Breakfast” card will be sent. If we run out of these designs we will call you before proceeding with your order.
To ensure card delivery by December 23, please return your order form by December 14, 2010. Card quantities are limited, so please order early to ensure availability. We will not begin to mail cards until December 10. If you request blank cards, we will send those to you as soon as we receive your order.

Limited Edition Holiday Poster
For the first time, the UW School of Veterinary Medicine is offering limited edition prints of S. V. Meradis’s “Quality Control” for a $30 donation. These prints are 9”x11”and will be signed and numbered by the artist. Only 100 prints are available, so please order early. return your completed order form by December 14, 2010. Posters will be delivered by December 23rd. We will stop accepting orders when posters have sold out.
All gifts are appreciated, and you can use your holiday card order form to make an end of the year donation. (Please note that all gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Credit card gifts must be made online before 10 pm on December 31 or received by the school by December 28, 2010 to be processed as a 2010 gift. Gifts made by checks must be postmarked by December 31.)
