Share was set up to be an open area of network storage where files created in a user’s private network drive or personal computer can be copied to a central location to be shared with colleagues, students, for teaching presentations, etc. There is NO security on this folder. Anyone can see everything copied there. Share is routinely cleaned up – the longest time files can be stored on share is 3 months.
