Minimum
number of years and type of relevant work experience:

years work experience in cell and molecular biology and familiarity
with mouse colony management is highly desirable
Principal
duties:
Perform
research related to embryonic development of the reproductive tract.
Principal duties will include dissection of reproductive tracts
from embryonic and postnatal mice, which will be processed for cellular,
RNA, protein, and other means of molecular analysis. In addition,
the specialist will perform cell culture with primary and other
traditional cell lines. Other responsibilities will include purchasing
laboratory supplies, maintaining laboratory experimental records,
working and training animal care staff to maintain mouse colonies,
and participation in regular lab meetings. Assist in conducting
literature searches and preparing data for publication purposes.
