The UW School of Veterinary Medicine has a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits, Monday-Friday (9:00am – 6:00pm) available for an energetic, professional individual ready to work in a fast-paced clinical pathology laboratory. We are seeking a team player to join a service-oriented laboratory and participate in the analysis of a variety of animal specimens in areas of hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and parasitology. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) or related science and must be certified (or eligible to obtain upon hire) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent organization. Previous work in a clinical pathology laboratory a plus. Attention to detail and ability to multitask are required. Candidate should have strong computer, written, and analytical skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
