Dr. Nigel Cook joins Advisory Committee for American Humane® Farm Animal Welfare Certification Program

 

Dr. Nigel Cook, clinical associate professor in food animal production medicine for the University of Wisconsin's School of Veterinary Medicine, along with Dr. Jim Reynolds, chief of clinical services in dairy production medicine at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Center, have joined advisory committees for American Humane® Farm Animal Welfare Certification Program. The program aims to represents the highest and most accountable science-based standards for the humane treatment of farm animals within the nation's food supply system.
