Animal Cancer Treatment Program (ACT)
Advances are improving treatment of cancer of both companion animals and humans while reducing the suffering and deaths of many pets with cancer.


Companion Animal Fund
Funding for health care studies dealing with the diseases and disorders that afflict animals, and support for other needs within the veterinary medical education program such as scholarships and special equipment.


Dairy Teaching Herd Endowment
The School of Veterinary Medicine seeks $1 million to endow its dairy teaching herd in the name of Dr. Leland Allenstein.


Dean's Fund for Excellence
The Dean’s Fund for Excellence provides flexibility for strategic investments in programs, projects and activities that advance, enhance and expand the overall mission of the School of Veterinary Medicine.


Equine Research Fund

The School of Veterinary Medicine’s first Associate Dean for Academic Affairs was passionate about students, and this fund is designed to continue her broad-reaching student support efforts.


Orthopaedic Treatment of Animals
The Comparative Orthopaedics Program is focused on improving fundamental understanding of several important Orthopaedic diseases of dogs and horses.


Pet Pals
Pet Pals is an exciting program that brings volunteer dogs to UW Children's Hospital to visit pediatric patients.


RESPOND Fund
This fund is designed to provide financial support for veterinary medical care for seriously ill pets whose owners are unable to afford the medical care required for their animals.


Student Scholarships
The need is great. Scholarship funds help students pay for tuition and other fees associated with their veterinary medical education.


Tomotherapy
Wisconsin seeks to be the first veterinary medical school with tomotherapy, a targeted and minimally invasive approach to cancer radiation therapy.
