Highway 151 (southwest)
Location
Take Hwy. 151 northeast (as you approach Madison, Hwy. 151 becomes Verona Rd. and as you pass under Hwy.12/18 its name changes to Midvale Blvd). Stay on Midvale Blvd. until you reach a T-intersection with University Avenue (2.7 miles). Turn right on University Avenue and stay in the right hand lane. After 1 mile this lane (University Avenue) splits off from the main road (Campus Dr.). Stay on University Avenue. Continue to the second stoplight and turn left onto Walnut St. At the roundabout, veer right onto Observatory Dr. Drive 1/4 mile and, just after you cross a small bridge, turn right onto Easterday La. The School of Veterinary Medicine will be directly in front of you.
Interstate I-90 (south)
Location
When you approach Madison on I-90 from Chicago, take the Hwy. 12/18 West Exit. Stay on Hwy.12/18 for 8 miles until you reach exit 258 (Dodgeville-Verona Rd./ Midvale Blvd). Turn right onto Midvale Blvd. Stay on Midvale Blvd. until you reach a T-intersection with University Avenue (2.7 miles). Turn right on University Avenue and stay in the right hand lane. After 1 mile this lane (University Avenue) splits off from the main road (Campus Dr.). Stay on University Avenue. Interstate I-94 (east)
Location
From Milwaukee take I-94 west, which will become Hwy. 30 near Madison. Stay on Hwy. 30 until you get to the State Capital Exit. Turn right onto E. Washington Avenue. Take E. Washington Avenue. for 2 miles and turn right on First St. At the next stop light turn left on E. Johnson St. (this street will change names twice—to East Gorham and then to University Avenue.). Once the street becomes University Avenue, stay in the left lane. The road will split into University Avenue and Campus Drive. Stay on University Avenue (left lane) until you get to Walnut St. (there is a stoplight at this intersection). Turn right onto Walnut St. At the roundabout, veer right onto Observatory Dr. Drive 1/4 mile and, just after you cross a small bridge, turn right onto Easterday La. The School of Veterinary Medicine will be directly in front of you.
Highway 14 (west)
Location
From Spring Green take Hwy. 14 through Middleton (Hwy 14 will become University Avenue). Stay in the right lane. After 3-4 miles this lane (University Avenue) splits off from the main road (Campus Dr.). Stay on University Avenue. Continue to the second stoplight and turn left onto Walnut St. At the roundabout, veer right onto Observatory Dr. Drive 1/4 mile and, just after you cross a small bridge, turn right onto Easterday La. The School of Veterinary Medicine will be directly in front of you.
Interstate I-90/94 (north)
Location
From LaCrosse or Minneapolis/St. Paul take I-90/94 east to Hwy 151 south. (Hwy 151 becomes East Washington Avenue) Stay on East Washington for 3 miles. Turn right on First St. At the next stop light turn left on E. Johnson St. (this street will change names twice—to East Gorham and then to University Avenue).
