Copy & Mail Center

Copy Center

Hours:
7:30-12:30 and 1-4 p.m.

Please use the first two copy machines, as you enter the copy center, at any time during the day. The larger production machine, located near the back of the room, is used by Berlinda Lopez to do large requested copy jobs. If that machine is not being used by Berlinda, please feel free to use it in addition to the front two.

Paper in the Copy Center is only for use in the copy machines. Please do not remove blank unused paper from the Copy Center, without first speaking to Karen Mier (room 2011).

To request copy service, fill out a copy request, large jobs (master copy over 50 pages) and jobs that need to be circulated to specific mail boxes, need to be received five days before desired completion date. All other jobs need to be received two full days prior to desired completion. Copyright laws will not be violated (complete books will not be copied). Copy jobs will be returned machine collated, manual collating cannot be done.

Requests for copies of bound materials, such as magazines, books or publications is strongly discouraged. If requested, copying of these materials will be done by copy center student help as they are available. For quicker turn around time, please check with your department for their student help.

Distribution service to mailboxes is provided for copy jobs only.

Personal copying can be done on the debit card copy machine near the Deli at any time, or by special arrangement through Karen Mier.

Mail Guidelines

The mail is posted (prepared and taken to the US Post Office) between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. daily.

All mail must be received by 9:00 a.m. to be posted that day.

Place departmental outgoing mail, to be posted, in the appropriate slot for each department on the north wall of the Copy/Mail Room 2165. Large mailings must be received 1 day prior to posting. Large mailings will be delivered to the Post Office the day of posting.

You need to provide an addressed envelope for each outgoing mail piece.

Personal mail and campus mail can be placed in the appropriate labeled bin just inside the door of the Copy/Mail Center room 2165. Delivery to the Post Office will take place as above.

University and Postal Regulations do not allow us to accept any mail pieces 16 ounces or over. International mail 16oz and over must be taken to the Post Office personally due to heightened security measures. [must have custom slip declaration]

Mail is received from the post office and sorted into mailboxes starting at about 11:30 p.m. each day.
