The UW ACT program has made significant advances in the fight against cancer by
- Developing immunotherapy programs to successfully treat osteosarcoma, melanoma, and hemangiosarcoma
- Pioneering the use of liposomes to deliver cancer chemotherapy with reduced toxicity
- Launching multi-center clinical trials at six veterinary cancer centers which have enhanced quality of life for pets across the country
